第21回 マクロ・コンファレンス論文募集のご案内

皆様

益々ご健勝のこととお慶び申し上げます。

さて、1999年以来、年に１回マクロ・コンファレンスが開催されていますが、
第21回マクロ・コンファレンスを、今年の11月16日（土）、17日（日）に
ホテル阪急エクスポパーク（大阪府吹田市）にて開催することになりました。

資金提供者は、
TCER（東京経済研究センター）、
大阪大学社会経済研究所（科研S)、
慶應義塾大学経済学部、
東京大学金融教育研究センター、
一橋大学経済研究所経済社会リスク研究機構、
であり、幹事は下記の通りです。

応募〆切：
報告ご希望の方は4人の代表兼プロコミ委員に、報告希望の論文をメールの添付ファイルで

9月15日（日曜日､日本時間）

までにお送りいただきますようお願いいたし ます。

フルペーパーの提出が望ましいですが、10ページ程度の要旨でもよいとします
（ただし、4人のプロコミ委員および討論者宛にフルペーパーを
11月1日（金曜日､日本時間）までに提出していただきますようお願いします）。

なお、希望討論者を２名ご推薦いただきますようお願いいたします。
ただし、事前に本人の承諾を取っていただく必要はありません。

テーマは特に定めませんが、日本経済の直面する問題に答えようとする
マクロの理論・実証研究を特に歓迎します。
また選定においては、論文の質が同程度と判断される場合には
若手研究者・大学院生を優先します。

論文・プレゼン資料・報告は日本語でも英語でもよいものとします。
ただ、オーディエンスには日本語で質問する権利を認める方針ですので、
あらかじめご了承ください（我々のうちの誰かが必要に応じ翻訳します）。

採択の有無は10月12日（土曜日）頃までにお知らせいたします。

なお、発表者・討論者・座長の旅費・宿泊費を当方で負担させていただきます。
ただし、外国から参加される方の場合は、旅費のお支払いはできない場合がありますが、
あしからずご了承願います。

CALL FOR PAPERS
THE 21st ANNUAL MACRO CONFERENCE

The Macro Conference has been held annually since 1999.

This year, the 21st Macro Conference will take place at Hotel Hankyu Expo Park,
Suita City, Osaka, on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17.

Financial sponsors are the following:

Institute of Social and Economic Research of Osaka University (Kaken S)
Faculty of Economics, Keio University
Center for Advanced Research in Finance, University of Tokyo
Research Center for Economic and Social Risks, Hitotsubashi University

You are cordially invited to submit a research paper for presentation at the Conference:
- Papers should be written either in English or Japanese.
- There is no specific theme for the conference; however, we especially welcome studies
  (theoretical or empirical) that address issues confronting the Japanese economy.
- Full papers are preferred but a 10-page abstract is also acceptable.
- Please recommend two candidates for discussants (it is not necessary to obtain their prior consent).

Papers should be sent by simultaneous email to all members of the program committee as listed below.


Deadline: Sunday, September 15, 2019 (Japan time).

Acceptance Notification: Saturday, October 12, 2019

If your acceptance is based on a 10-page abstract, then your full paper should be submitted to
all members of the program committee, AND designated discussants, by Friday, November 1, 2019 (Japan time).

In the selection process, there is a possibility that priority will be given to young researchers/graduate students
when choosing among papers of comparable quality.

Please also note that even when your paper is written/presented in English, we allow the audience to
ask questions or make comments in Japanese (one of us will translate them for you, if necessary).

All the paper presenters, designated discussants and chairpersons will be provided with travel expenses.
However, international travel expenses may not be fully covered.

We look forward to receiving many interesting submissions.
